NCUA SHARE INSURANCE
Credit union members
who want to check the amount of insurance protection they
have on their deposits can use a new tool provided by the
National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). The Electronic
Share Insurance Estimator is available on the NCUA's Web site
to help consumers estimate the amount of insurance protection
provided by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund
based on the type and structure of their credit union accounts.
The Estimator provides credit
union members with basic information about share insurance
protection and explains the various types of share accounts
in an easy to understand question and answer format. Click
