MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The Value of Membership
When you become a member of TIC Federal
Credit Union, you're able to take advantage of no or low-cost
services tailored to fit your needs, low-rate loans, financial
planning and investment services, outstanding home buying
opportunities, home banking, unlimited Internet bill payment,
and much, much more. You also get excellent personal service
and convenience. Plus, as a member, "you are not just
a customer." You are part owner in the Credit Union and
get to vote on how your Credit Union operates, what products
and services are offered, and for your Credit Union's Board
of Directors. As a member of TIC Federal Credit Union, you
receive maximum security for your funds through the National
Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. government agency.
The NCUA insures your combined accounts up to $100,000.
Becoming A Member
There are two ways that a person can join TIC - through TIC's Community Charter or through an immediate family member who is already
a member of the Credit Union. Both methods are described below.
Eligibility
Through TIC's Community Charter
TIC Federal Credit Union serves anyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers, or attends school in Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Harris, or Marion counties in Georgia and Lee, Russell, and Macon counties in Alabama. To see if you are eligible for membership with TIC Federal Credit Union, visit our Membership Eligibility Check web page.

Eligibility Through
an
Immediate Family Member
To be eligible to join TIC Federal
Credit Union through an immediate family member, the family
member must be a current member of TIC Federal Credit Union
at the time you apply. Immediate family is defined as:
- Spouse

- Stepchildren
- Step siblings
- Step grandparents

|
Once
you become a member of TIC Federal Credit Union, your immediate
family is also eligible to join. Regardless of where they
live or work, your family can take advantage of all the
convenient and economical services at your credit union.
How
to Join
To become a member of TIC Federal Credit Union, you must first
meet one of the eligibility requirements listed above. New
members must open a regular savings account, deposit a minimum
$25 in the account, and pay a one-time, non-refundable $5
membership fee (the membership fee is waived if your account
is opened by TIC during an on-site enrollment at your company
or organization's location). The $25 balance in your regular
savings account represents your one voting share in the Credit
Union and is not available for withdrawal or transfer. By
maintaining a balance of at least $25, you can then take advantage
of the many other services TIC has to offer.
If you are eligible and ready
