ENHANCED LOGIN SECURITY
Introducing new Enhanced Login Security, a free and easy way to help prevent fraud. Soon you will be prompted to take steps to make your financial transactions more secure online
Your online security has always been a top priority. Soon, we’ll be upgrading your online banking experience with a new security service to further help protect you from identity theft. Keeping your accounts secure is a big priority for the Federal Government, and for us. In fact, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), the regulators overseeing banks and credit unions, regulations require that all financial institutions add “multi-factor authentication” to their online services by year end. These regulations state that passwords alone will no longer be acceptable as the sole means of achieving online security.
Meet Enhanced Login Security
This superior security technology protects your accounts from unauthorized access. It identifies you as the true “owner” of your accounts by recognizing not only your password but your computer as well. If we don’t recognize your computer – you’ve logged in from a public computer or one you haven’t used before – we’ll ask you for information that only you will know as an additional line of defense to prevent unauthorized access. With Enhanced Login Security, you’ll be protected from whatever computer you're using, whether you're at home or on the go.
Enhanced login security will:
- Defend against identity theft and fraud.
- Provide security from any computer, wherever you are.
- Make it easy for you to bank online anytime, anywhere.
Just one more way to ensure online fraud prevention, everyday and everywhere!
